Thanks for all of your letters each week to me! They really motivate and inspire me so much! It makes me so happy to hear from you all :) I'm so happy you had a great week this week! I'm really glad that you're all safe as well! I heard about the fires this week but I didn't know how serious they were!
Well on P-day, toward the end of our day, we played some ping pong with some members! That was really fun! Afterwards we had a last minute meeting from our president and the assistants. I don't know if I mentioned it but our mission has been struggling for a while now. With animo, obedience, baptisms, etc. The President has been trying for a long time to help every one of the missionaries. They're now going to all of the zones to try to help them improve. They're starting with the ones that need the most help and we were one of the very first ones! Woo! hahaha. I love President Giuliani. I have a testimony that he is called of God to be my mission president. He's such a powerful guy :) He talked about faith and how faith is the first step. I wish I could tell you everything we talked about! But it was really great! He bore testimony that this is God's work and with Him we can do all things, and Pergamino can get back on its feet.
I've been studying faith a lot this week, and I've learned so much! I can improve on my faith. It has motivated me a lot this week, not just what president said but in my personal study as well. Faith is a pretty neat thing!

The Assistants stayed in the zone all week to do divisions with the leaders here, so they were with my companion and Elder Sands one day. I didn't get a chance to work with an assistant, but I got to work with Elder Chattelain! I love this kid haha, we have a lot of fun together. I felt really bad, though, because I got hardcore lost! Twice! And it had been raining all day and we were working in the muddy roads. It felt like we were walking on velcro all day! I had a good time though. I've learned that when I go through crazy experiences I always look for the good story in it :) And I love stories!

Ok, so my companion and I have been really blessed this week. We've been visiting that new family in the ward a lot and the girl wants to be baptized! So we are going to have two baptisms this week. The other is Marcos, he's an awesome kid! I love it because not only are we excited for them but they are as well! They're pumped for their baptisms! It makes me so happy when people are willing and excited to follow Jesus Christ. What a miracle it is, when people change their whole lives, and are willing to do all things to follow our Savior. I love it!
So, the 4th of July! I really missed the United States! There were no fireworks, no silly string, nothing! My companion and I barely had food to eat haha! I've been eating a lot of eggs in this area which is good. They basically give them to us straight from the chickens! Like they're covered in poop and feathers when we get them haha. So this Independence Day was very different from the one I'm always used to.

On Saturday there was a ward baptism, his name is Alejandro Mandarino. This was really neat because we've been teaching this kid for a while! A lot of people ask the missionaries to teach their kids so they're more prepared for their baptism. It went really well, there were a lot of people there!
I've been downloading a lot of church talks and putting them on my ipod! They are so awesome! Yesterday we listened to a lot of my favorites. Do you have any suggestions? What are your favorite talks? I'd love to get them!
Church was really great, the focus was on missionary work. The second counselor shared a few stories from his mission (that I've heard before like 3 times haha), and they're great! He served in this mission 'back in the day'. He served with a guy who had 1001 baptisms. Which is flipping crazy! haha. He also served with a guy who worked his hardest and was the most humble missionary he ever worked with, and he had 1 baptism right before he left. His point was that with missionary work, the most important thing is that we work our hardest and leave the rest up to God.
Hey Happy Birthday Andrew Stacey! I love you big guy! I hope you had a great day! :D Thanks for your example and friendship :)
I love you family :) You are so great! I love hearing about your accomplishments and your growth. You are great examples to me :)
Always in my prayers,
Los Amo,
Elder Alek Clubb
